Separation is one of the hardest things a family can navigate. For the adults involved there are solicitors, mediators and legal processes designed to ensure they are heard. But for the children at the centre of it all, finding a voice can be much harder.
Children under 10 and those who are neurodivergent often need more than a conversation to share what they are truly experiencing. They need time, trust and a different kind of language altogether. That is exactly what Through Their Eyes provides.

Before any creative work begins, before any sandplay or art or movement, a child needs to feel genuinely safe. These five commitments are how we create that safety. Every session. Every child. Without exception.

HOW IT WORKS
Seven Sessions, One Court-Ready Report
Through Their Eyes is a carefully structured programme that moves at the child's pace. Every session builds on the last, creating the safety and trust needed for the child's voice to emerge naturally and honestly.
We Meet the Family
We meet separately with all parties who hold parental responsibility. We explain the process, answer questions and set expectations. Costs are shared equally between both parties.
We Meet the Child
This session belongs entirely to the child. No agenda. No pressure. We simply show up, build connection and let them lead.
The Creative Toolkit
The child begins to explore sandplay, art and creative materials. Play becomes the language. Trust continues to grow.
Life Right Now
The child expresses what their current life looks and feels like, in their own way and at their own pace. We photograph what they create.
Life as They Would Like It to Be
Using a second sandbox the child shows us their hopes for the future. We revisit and affirm everything that has emerged so far.
Their Voice, Their Choice
The child confirms what they would like shared with the court. They co-sign the summary document. Their voice is protected throughout.
The Report
We write a comprehensive, developmentally informed report and deliver it directly to the mediators and lawyers. The child's perspective, clearly and honestly represented.
